Anna movie teaser: Film is a biopic based on the life of social activist Anna Hazare

The teaser of Anna movie, a biopic based on the life of social activist Anna Hazare is out. The teaser gives one a glimpse into various phases of activist Anna Hazare’s life. Not many people know that Anna has also been a soldier and farmer before embarking on the journey of activism. From a fearless soldier, a hard working farmer to a social revolutionary, Anna Hazare rose to prominence with his fasting and protest against rampant corruption in the country.

The makers of Anna officially launched the teaser on August 16 and it seems inspiring. Based on the life of Anna Hazare, the teaser also showcases glimpses of his maverick personality essayed by actor Shashank Udapurkar. Not only does he look the part, but his mannerisms are exactly like the real-life Anna. Tanishaa Mukerji’s narration only adds to the anticipation of this hard-hitting film. Tanishaa can be seen playing the role of a journalist in the movie. Her sister Kajol and brother-in-law Ajay Devgn have wished her all the best for the movie.

Presented by The Rise Pictures Pvt. Ltd. and produced by Manindra Jain, the film is based on the life of social activist Kisan Baburao Anna Hazare starring Shashank Udapurkar in the lead. Zee Music holds the music rights and Sony Pictures will be distributing the film.
