Surveen Chawla not part of ‘Bigg Boss Nau’:
Actress Surveen Chawla, whose last big screen outing was ‘Welcome Back’, has slammed rumours that she will participate in the upcoming ninth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ saying she has no plans be a part of the reality show. “I am a big fan of this show but I’m not the right person for this,” Surveen said in a statement. ‘Bigg Boss Nau’, to be hosted by superstar Salman Khan, is an Indian version of internationally acclaimed reality television show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. The show involves celebrity contestants locked inside a purpose-built house for three months under constant camera surveillance. The final list of contestants has not been revealed yet, however, some names that have been floating around for entering the “Bigg Boss” house are Rochelle Rao, Roopal Tyagi, Kishwar Merchant, Ankit Gera and Amit Tandon.
Daljeet Kaur:
As per the reports, TV actress Daljeet Kaur refused the offer to participate in the Season 9 of Bigg Boss. The actress said no to the show because of her baby boy Shaarav. Daljeet will be next seen in Zee TV’s ‘Kala Tikka’.
Mia Khalifa says NO to ‘Bigg Boss 9’:
Speculations that porn star Mia Khalifa may appear as a contestant in ‘Bigg Boss’ season 9 have all been put to rest after the adult star refused to enter the house. Khalifa took to Twitter to refute rumours. The adult star is apparently least interested in participating in the show. She tweeted: “Let’s get something clear: I am never stepping foot in India, so whomever said I have “shown interest” in being on Big Boss should be fired”.
Siddhant Karnick:
Handsome and suave, Siddhant Karnick, who plays Ranaji in Zee TV’s ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ has no qualms doing controversial reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ provided they pay him dirty.When asked will he ever do a show like ‘Bigg Boss’, Siddhant said, “I don’t mind. But they have to give me dirty money for me to go on the show. If they do, then why not?. I have already planned, I will work for 10-12 years more and then I will go to mountains on my bike. I want to travel to different continents on my bike.”The actor further stated that he only takes up television when his account balance goes for a toss. “I prefer to to do theatre as I love to act and theatre gives more acting scope than the small screen. However, television pays well,” explained Siddhant.
Evelyn Sharma:
The hot and sweet Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress Evelyn Sharma, who scorched the screen with her dance in a bikini in song Pani Pani from Yaariyan, was reportedly approached to be an inmate in reality show Bigg Boss. However, she refused. Quoting the pretty actress, a Bollywoodlife report says that she is claustrophobic and can’t be stuck in one house for so long. Plus she says she will start shooting for her next film soon and hence there could have been a clash in dates. Well we sure hope it is not about money, honey. Well she is not alone. Like her there are many celebrities who have refused to be inmates of Bigg Boss despite getting lucrative money and a chance to become a household name and get noticed by filmmakers.
Taslima Nasreen:
Controversial writer Taslima Nasreen, who has been recently granted a residential visa by the central government, was invited to participate in the eighth season of reality show Bigg Boss. Speaking about why she refused to be a part of the show, the author tweeted, “Colors TV called. Wants me in Bigg Boss. I politely refused. Said, ‘u’ll get chance 2 show urslf 2 world & u’ll get money’. Then I impolitely refused.” In an interview to TOI, Nasreen also revealed that though she has seen the reality show couple of times and finds it entertaining, there is no way she will ever participate in it as it is not in “her range of interest”
Jackie Shroff:
While we do not have confirmation about this, there were reports that suggested that Bigg Boss makers had approached actor Jackie Shroff to be a part of the show some time back. However, our super cool Jackie Dada refused the offer. A Daily Bhaskar report says that the actor was offered a crore in 2012 to be a part of the controversial show. However, Jackie was ready to host it but not be an inmate there. These reports also led to speculations that the actor might do a cameo on the sixth season of the show and come for a few episodes. However, that did not happen. That makes us wonder would Jackie be a good host for Bigg Boss?
Poonam Pandey:
The sex siren, who has risen to fame because of her controversies and posting semi nude selfies on social platforms, had also refused to be a part of reality showBigg Boss. A PTI report says that the starlet wanted Rs 3 crore for her stint in Bigg Boss. However, the producers agreed for Rs 2-2.5 crore. Hence, she refused as she felt that she was being paid less. Quoting the producers, the report adds that Poonam had been approached for the last three seasons for Bigg Boss, but things couldn’t work out due to monetary issues.
Honey Singh:
Popular rapper Honey Singh is starting his own singing talent show soon. However, in 2012 the singer was offered to be part of Bigg Boss. A Hindustan Timesreport says Yo Yo Honey Singh refused to participate in the sixth season of the controversial reality show as he was not happy with the remuneration he was being offered. The report quotes a source close to the singer and says Honey Singh felt that the money offered was too little to take up the offer. Well it would have been interesting to have him in the show. Wouldn’t it?
Sonarika Bhadoria:
The gorgeous TV actress Sonarika Bhadoria, who became immensely popular after playing the role of Goddess Parvati & Adi Shakti in the TV showDevon Ke Dev – Mahadev, was allegedly asked to be a part of the controversial show Bigg Boss. However, a report in Daily Bhaskar says she refused as she did not want to make her life public. In an interview to media, the actress has said she is not a kind of person who likes to make my private life public. She said she is a private person and not like to show the world how she cooks, brushes her teeth, etc.
