Chandra Nandni will premiere on Star Plus on October 10.

Chandra Nandni is based on the love story between king Chandragupta Maurya and his wife Nandni and will air on Star Plus. Actors Rajat Tokas and Shweta Basu Prasad have been roped in to play the lead roles. Rajat, who became known for playing young Prithviraj Chauhan, also acted in Dharam Veer and Jodha Akbar. And looking at his choice of shows, he has surely become the first choice for playing historical characters on the small screen. Should we blame his good looks, amazing physique or acting skills?
