Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma‘s love story is nothing less than a Bollywood movie. Virat and Anushka dated each other for a long time but never revealed anything about their relationship for a long time. Like a normal couple in love, they even had differences, but as it is said, nothing can stop two people if they truly love each other.

Their First Meeting

Anushka and Virat came together for a shampoo commercial in 2013. The duo became very good friends after that. s always happens, rumors about these two dating each other started doing the rounds. While the couple never really made a public announcement of their relationship, the two never missed out on any opportunity to spend time with each other. The two lovebirds always supported each other’s careers, while Virat took to twitter to congratulate Anushka for her performance in NH10 on twitter, the actress supported her beau in the stands in almost all his matches. The couple also made a red carpet appearance at the Vogue Beauty Awards.

What further caught attention of all was when team India arrived at the Mumbai airport from its South Africa tour in January 2014. Instead of going with rest of the team to the designated hotel, Virat went to Anushka’s apartment. In fact, the actress herself had sent her car to receive him at the airport.

Love Was Blooming

While these two lovebirds did not accept being in a relationship with each other initially, this did not stop them from missing out on any opportunity to spend time together. Anushka went to New Zealand in February 2014, and the Indian cricket team was also there for a tournament. They both were seen strolling around the city hand in hand, and very much in love.

Later in the year, Virat gave a surprise visit to Anushka in Sri Lanka, where she was busy shooting for Bombay Velvet. He also visited her on her 26th birthday in Udaipur, where she was shooting for the movie, PK. Although so many appearances together had left no one in doubt, the final acceptance from the couple came quite interstingly. After achieving a milestone in a match against Sri Lanka in November 2014, Virat blew a flying kiss towards Anushka, who was among the spectators. In the same month, Virat even admitted to his relationship with Anushka at an event.

When They Broke up

After a two-year courtship, the couple sparked break-up rumors when Kohli unfollowed Sharma on Instagram. According to rumors, Virat wanted to settle down, but Anushka wanted to focus on her career. This created a lot of differences between the otherwise happy couple. It was also reported that Virat’s over-possessive nature is creating the rift between them and things are becoming worse. They kind of confirmed their breakup when the two unfollowed each other on Instagram.

But They Reunited

The two went separate ways in the starting of 2016 to only come back together as a stronger couple by the end of the same year. Their love for each other was so true that they could not live without each other. While people kept speculating about their relationship, the couple maintained a dignified silence on the matter. However, quite recently Kohli was seen sporting a tee with a message that read “We were on a break!” which was seen as a public announcement of their relationship status. Much to everyone’s surprise, the two were also spotted having dinner together some days ago.

On the occasion of Valentine’s day (2017), Virat posted this cutesy picture of them with a very beautiful caption, wishing his ladylove a very happy Valentine’s day. Here is what the caption read:

He is truly the best boyfriend any girl could ever wish for! On Women’s Day, 2017, Virat posted something adorable on his Instagram. He posted a picture collage of his mother and Anushka, wishing the most important ladies in his life a very happy women’s day. Take a look:
