Hina Khan quits Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and we know how
It is confirmed that Hina Khan will quit the show after playing Akshara for 8 long years.
After a long speculation, it’s official that Hina Khan is quitting her 8-year-old show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She will shoot for the show till the month end and her character will be killed in the show. With Akshara’s death Hina khan’s journey will end in the show. Hina herself shared this news with media on the sets. It’s been a 8-year-old journey and Hina wants to try something new and different. She is really keen on taking up comedy and reality shows. Also there is buzz that she will get married and turn producer to make shows under her production house Faar Better Films. She has been dating Rocky Jaiswal, who also happens to be her business partner, for quite some time now. So both Hina and Rocky will now make shows under her production house .
After Hina’s exit, the show will shift to Naira’s story and she will take over all Akshara’s responsibilities. With Karthik and Naira’s marriage the story will go back to what happened with Akshara when she got married to Naitik. With introduction of Karthik’s family, a whole new track has been developed. Many new faces like Parul Chauhan, Mohena Singh, Shakti Anand, Ali Hassan, Shilpa Raizada are entering the show. So with Kaira and Karthik’s marriage. A new story of Kaira’s journey from a daughter to daughter-in-law will begin.
This year has been a year for many exits from the show. The lead actor of the show Karan Mehra, who was playing Naitik for last seven years, quit the show. Karan Mehra was replaced by Vishal Singh as the new Naitik. This was followed by quitting of Rohan Mehra who was playing Akshara and Naitik’s son. This year the show also has many new entries. Naksh, his girlfriend Tara and her family were introduced. Veteran actor Alok Nath was also part of Yeh Rishta this year.
Apart from the quits, a lot of significant things happened in the show, like the leap the show took. Naira grew up and Shivangi Joshi stepped in the show as Naira. Along with Naira other kids of the house like Gaayu also grew up. In the last 8 years, many actors and characters were part of the show. Many were replaced and many characters just went away. What never changed was Akshara and Naitik. But this year, it seems like Akshara and Naitik are no longer there. With Hina Khan’s exit, the story will entirely focus on Karthik and Naira’s story. The viewers like Karthik and Naira’s onscreen chemistry which made the makers kill Akshara instead of replacing her.
As per reports, Hina Khan had been giving the makers and the cast a very tough time with her tantrums and insecurities. The makers decided to do away with Akshara’s character as the new couple in the show were working better. Wonder how the actress’ characters will die on TV? She will meet with an accident and that will be the end of it. Also with Hina’s exit, one of longest running Bahu of television stint will get over.
