The Indian Television most promising channel i.e Sony Entertainment channel will be coming with it’s new Hindi TV show that is, Jaat Ki Jugni. This show will be coming soon. The show was earlier called Saajan and now the title has been changed to ‘Jat Ki Jugni’. Earlier, it was supposed to be set in Punjab but now the setting is Haryana. As the name suggests, the show is a love story of a Jat played by Vishal Vashishtha and the actress is Madirakshi Mundle. After the success of films like Dangal and Sultan, it looks like Haryana is the favourite base for TV shows.
After Dil Se Dil Tak, here is another show that is inspired by a film. Remember the 1993 Karishma Kapoor film called ‘Anari’. The film marked the debut of Telugu superstar Venkatesh in Bollywood. Now, this film has been adapted into a TV show called ‘Jaat Ki Jugni’. It will be airing from March on Sony TV.
Serial Story / Plot
The show is set is Haryana and if focuses on the love story of a overprotected girl name Munni and a local boy Bittu. Munni belongs to a well off family but has lost her parents very early in age. However, Munni has been brought up by her three brothers who act like a shield around her. Munni lives a completely sheltered life and her brothers make sure that she is kept well protected from the outside world. Munni does not know many people outside her house as her brothers have kept a close tab on the people she meets and interacts with. Despite of the sheltered life led by Munni, she ends up meeting with a fun-loving and carefree guy Bittu and falls in love with him. Bittu is good looking, smart and is also charming and this makes Munni fall in love with him. However, Munni’s three brothers will be the biggest roadblock for Munni and Bittu’s love story. Munni’s brother will ensure Bittu stays away from Munni and will also put his life at risk. However, Bittu’s mother will keep Bittu protected and will help him to combat with Munni’s strong brothers.
