Kahaani 2 is an upcoming 2016 Indian Hindi thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Ghosh and Jayantilal Gada. It features Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. It is the sequel to 2012 surprise hit Kahaani. Principal photography took place from March 2016 to May 2016.
It is scheduled to release on 2 December 2016.

Storyline
Kahaani 2 is the sequel of 2012 film ‘Kahaani’ which revolved around the fight of a fake pregnant woman in search of her husband.

Sujoy Ghosh was going to direct the film in 2014 as “Durga Rani Singh”. He had signed Irrfan Khan and Vidya Balan. Then Vidya opted out and Kangana was signed. When the film got delayed both Irrfan and Kangana left the film . Thats when Sujoy decided to call the film Kahani 2 and cast Arjun Rampal and Vidya Balan once again.
