Man Files A Case Against ‘Sultan’, Alleges That The Film Is Entirely Based On His Life!
In just four days of its release, YRF’s Sultan has entered the 100 crore club royally, making it Salman Khan’s 10th film to cross 100 cr. Even when the audience is all praises for Salman Khan’s performance as Sultan in the film, there is one man from Bihar, who is not happy with the film.
A man from Muzaffarpur in Bihar has filed a cheating case against Sultan’s team including Salman Khan, Anushka, producer Yash Raj Films and director Ali Abbas for ‘copying’ his real life story.
The case was filed by Sabeer Ansari on 8th July at CJM court in Muzaffarpur in Bihar as he claimed that the entire film depicted his real life from the beginning to the end. In his petition, Ansari added that Salman Khan had promised to pay him Rs 20 crore but he could not stick to his words!
Ansari added that Salman had himself contacted him for the film but later he was informed by the production house that the film had been shelved. However, after the film was released, Ansari felt cheated and that’s when he decided to take a step against the whole team.
While there is no confirmation of such a case being registered from production house or the team, a report by India today claims that the next hearing is scheduled for July 12. If there’s any truth to these claims, only time will tell!
