Whoa! Baahubali 2 Might Have Already Made Rs 350 Crore Just From Its Pre-Release …

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali released a year ago in July and set money registers on fire. With breathtaking VFX groupings combined with a splendid screenplay and exceptional exhibitions, Baahubali was praised around the world. What’s more, the sit tight for it’s convincing continuation Baahubali 2 has been on as far back as then.

The creators have at long last declared the film will hit screens on April 28, 2017. Right now, Rajamouli is caught up with completing the activity scenes which will be over by August end, post which the group needs to shoot two more melodies and the whole shoot will be wrapped by November. But the pre-release deals for the sequel has been historic.

Baahubali International Cut at BIFF

Rs 350 crore. We are sure most of us don’t even know the number of zeroes in that amount. But that’s the amount which Baahubali 2 might have made already, before even telling us why Katappa kill Baahubali! Sounds unbelievable, but that’s true.

Overseas rights for Baahubali have been sold for the highest ever price for any south Indian film to Raja Rajan, from Chennai’s K Productions. Along with that, Rajan has also bought the theatrical rights for the film in Tamil Nadu. Cumulatively, the amount is close to a whopping Rs 100 crore itself.

Theatrical rights for other South India markets – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana – too have brought in another Rs 100 crore for the film. Hindi theatricals may even touch Rs 120 crore.

Over and above, Baahubali will be released in three different languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Overseas rights of all the three language versions have been sold together for around RS 52 crore. Which roughly make the total amount Rs 350 crores.
